Turkishceramics to ‘talk turkey’ at Coverings 2017

Coverings, the largest tile and stone show in North America with nine miles of the latest trends and exhibitors from across the globe, takes place in Orlando, Fla. from April 4-8. Turkishceramics will be there, showcasing new products, savvy business initiatives, wonderful hospitality and a new catchphrase themed specifically for the United States: “Let’s talk Turkey!”

According to McGraw-Hill’s Dictionary of American Slang and Colloquial Expressions, “If you ‘Talk Turkey,’ you discuss something seriously, usually to do with business or money.” The Urban Dictionary defines this phrase as “speaking frankly, discussing hard facts or getting down to serious business.”

During Coverings, Turkishceramics, along with a number of its US-focused manufacturer/members, will be exhibiting at the Turkish Pavilion. “We are focused even more on the United States than in the past,” said Ahmet Yamaner of Turkishceramics. “Many of our members have been working closely with stateside customers for decades. Together, we have worked to better understand the marketplace and those who demand top quality tile materials. We have listened to distributors, retailers, contractors, architects, designers and end-users. As a result, our producers have developed products specifically to meet their respective demands.”
