Washington– Five new destinations are being added to next year’s lineup of tours offered by Architectural Adventures, the official travel program of The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Architectural Adventures provides unique, architecture-focused experiences led by seasoned architects and design professionals. Destinations are selected for their cultural, historical and architectural significance. Guides share their knowledge and specialized insights with travelers who visit sites like Frank Gehry’s Decontructivism DZ Bank in Berlin and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Morocco.
In 2020, architecture enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience 16 destinations, including new tours in Berlin, Brazil, Egypt, the Baltics and a river cruise along the Danube. Popular tours — that routinely sell out — in Portugal, Spain and Japan will also be offered next year.
