AFR celebrates Starnet Awards win

Architectural Flooring Resource (AFR) celebrated its Starnet Awards grand prize win with a celebration held in NYC.

New York— Architectural Flooring Resource (AFR), a New York City-based commercial flooring contractor and Starnet member, took home the 2019 Starnet Design Awards grand prize. To commemorate the win, the company welcomed friends and vendor partners to a celebration event July 15 at the Arlo Hotel in Manhattan.

AFR worked with Ted Moudis Associates, an architecture and interior design firm, as well as flooring suppliers Bostik, J+J Flooring Group, Mannington, Roppe and Tarkett on the winning project — to renovate UM Global Headquarters in New York City. The project also won gold in the corporate category.

In addition to the awards ceremony, Starnet and AFR made a contribution to representatives of two area charities — North Fork Animal Welfare Animal League and Bideawee.
