New York– Fiandre (part of the Iris Ceramica Group) has opened its first NYC showroom. The interior is defined as a traditional open loft space highlighted by inspirational home environments in design themes ranging from classic to minimal showcasing both residential and commercial concepts.
The NYC showroom is Fiandre’s fifth corporate showroom in the U.S. — in addition to its flagship studio in Chicago and showrooms in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco — and will cater to designers, architects, builders and design-savvy consumers. The 4,000-square-foot showroom is located in the heart of the New York design district, anchored by the NY Design Center and in a neighborhood with global brand showrooms showcasing a world of Italian interior design trends.
The new technology-advanced showroom features an open floor plan and luxury lifestyle vignettes so clients can experience the premium porcelain and ceramic collections in real life settings. The showroom features a sample bar for on-demand samples for designers and architects, personal showroom assistance and customized product design.
“We are excited to expand our NYC presence in the hub of NY’s emerging design district, invest in our brand image and create an open architectural environment conducive to design inspiration. This marks an important stage in the company’s strategic expansion in the U.S.,” said Federica Minozzi, CEO, Iris Ceramica Group.
Several new products, including Design Your Slab and new shades in the Maximum Marmi collection will debut for the first time in the showroom. In addition, new colors from other brands in the group will also be on display, including Iris Ceramica, Diesel Living, Ariostea and Sapienstone.
Design Your Slabs is a tailor-made service where any image or illustration can be applied to large sized high-tech ceramic surfaces through inkjet technology. Design Your Slabs offers architects and designers a new option for their unique artistic concepts. Design Your Slabs offer personalization with full blown high impact color illustration. The design concept allows for continuity among interior and exterior spaces, embracing the synergies of indoor and outdoor walls to tell their technological and creative story within a single project. Metallic elements in gold, silver and bronze can also be incorporated.
Fiandre’s commitment to environmental issues and its sustainability positioning distinguishes the brand in the global porcelain and ceramic marketplace. The pureness of the raw materials along with the most advanced technology and continuous study of aesthetic design trends ensures long-lasting products. Recognized globally for its environmental commitment and certifications: ISO 1400, EMAS (EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) and over 250 Fiandre materials are LEED certified.
Fiandre’s latest tile collections are available for the U.S. market through the company’s own distributor, Transceramica, as well as through its nationwide network of distributors.
